CSV - Membership/Licence FAQ
1 What is a cycling membership/licence and why do I need one?
Whether you are interested in competing in competitive cycling on the road or track, or you are simply looking for a recreational licence which gives you great insurance coverage, we have a licence that will suit EVERY type of cyclist.
2 What type of licence should I get?
This depends on whether you are interested in racing competitively, or whether you just want a recreational licence which covers you when you ride socially. CSV offers licences for both the competitive and recreational side of cycling. For more info on licences, please go to 'Membership'.
3 What age category do I fall into?
For most licences, categories are age based, such as Junior and senior racing licences, that is they are based on the year which you were born. For Recreational licences, it is not aged based. For more details, check Licence categories under 'Licence Categories'.
