TECHNICAL REGULATIONS

There are three levels of rules that are applicable to cycling in Victoria:

International Cycling Union (UCI): These regulations are specific to UCI Sanctioned events or where the Cycling Australia/Victoria regulations may be silent.

Cycling Australia (CA):  These are the rules that all non-UCI events in Victoria and Australia must be conducted under.*

Cycling Victoria abide by the Cycling Australia Technical Regulations however have noted the need for specific regulations regarding races that are specific to only Victoria.  These are therefore specific for all State events run in Victoria.

It should also be noted that a number of events have event regulations.  These will be provided by the organiser in advance of the event.
