Victorian Schools Cycling Championships

During Terms 3 and 4 you can enter the Victorian Schools Cycling Championships (VSCC), which features 14 events across the state and culminates with the Bendigo State Final Festival from October 14-16. The VSCC includes Road, Mountain Bike and BMX events. The 'Novice' category is open to students with little or no cycling experience and provides temporary membership cover during the race.

Victorian Interschool Cycling Series

Starting in Term 4 and rolling into Term 1 2016 is the Victorian Interschool Cycling Series, and 7-race series of closed road cycling events featuring Criteriums, Hill Climbs and Time Trials. Supported by Orica Bike-Exchange star Simon Gerrans, VICS gives students the opportunity to improve their cycling skills, learn discipline, commitment and organisation, all while having fun with their friends.

Let's Ride

Let’s Ride is a national junior riding program designed by Cycling Australia (CA) to be a fun learning experience for kids. The program teaches them to ride safely by developing their knowledge, skills and confidence – giving parents peace of mind. 

Cycling Victoria is a registered Let's Ride delivery centre. Schools can apply for funding through the Sporting Schools initiative.

Track Cycling Programs

Did you know that Cycling Victoria is based at the DISC Velodrome in Thornbury? DISC is the only permanent indoor velodrome in Victoria. The popular track school holiday program runs during each term break.
