NEWS: The Shipwreck Coast Classic will now incorporate the 2009 Victorian Open Mens & Womens Road Race Championships

Following the cancellation of the Victorian Open Road Championships on the 16 August, CycleSport Victoria has announced that the championships, for both men and women, will be conducted as part of the Shipwreck Coast Classic on Sunday 25th October.

Riders who entered the original championships as an individual event (i.e. did not enter the full Tour of Geelong), will be entitled to an entry credit and will not be required to pay and entry fee to the Shipwreck Coast Classic. These riders however are required to submit a manual entry form to CSV for the Shipwreck Coast Classic requesting an entry credit.

Riders who rode the Tour of Geelong and are wishing to enter the Shipwreck Coast Classic, are required to enter the event as normal with entry payment.
